Our newly redesigned Kanga Hurricane 14 offers superior protection and performance to other models in its class at a super-value price. The Hurricane 14 model roof pouch is a rugged, value-priced, high-end roof pouch. The Hurricane car top carrier is constructed with 100% Radio Frequency welded seams and corners eliminating needle holes leaks, a deeply recessed zipper that runs the perimeter of the unit and heavy duty vinyl creating a truly weather tough roof pouch. A wedge shape aerodynamic design and two sets of straps for use on most vehicles with or without a roof rack complete this piece. The Hurricane 14 car top travel gear stow comes with all the hardware needed to use on most vehicles with or without a roof rack.

The through-the-door attachment hardware kit that comes with the Kanga Hurricane 14 should never be used with vehicles having side curtain air bags

The “through-the-door” attachment hardware kit is now included with the following car top carriers: the Kanga Hurricane 11, the Kanga Hurricane 14 , Sherpak GO!15 Car Top Carrier , and the Sherpak Elite 20 cubic foot Rooftop Carriers. All of the car top carrier models can also attach to vehicles with roof racks without additional hardware.

The only restriction on the use of the through-the-door universal attachment straps appears to be that they cannot be used with vehicles that have side curtain air bags. You will want to verify that before making a purchase.
