When we say "Elite", we mean it. Built with a patented dual-layer radio-frequency welded seam design, the Sherpak Elite 20 offers the best weather protection available in a soft-sided carrier. A tough 19 oz. abrasion resistant body is outfitted with independent lateral compression straps that eliminate wind flap and allow internal contents to sit tight regardless of the load size or height. Heavy-duty Delrin buckles, a self-repairing nylon coil zipper and utility D-ring lashing points finish the Elite and truly put it in a class by itself.

The “through-the-door” attachment hardware kit is now included with the following car top carriers: the Kanga Hurricane 11, the Kanga Hurricane 14 , Sherpak GO!15 Car Top Carrier , and the Sherpak Elite 20 cubic foot Rooftop Carriers. All of the car top carrier models can also attach to vehicles with roof racks without additional hardware.

The only restriction on the use of the through-the-door universal attachment straps appears to be that they cannot be used with vehicles that have side curtain air bags. You will want to verify that before making a purchase.
