SERVO MOTOR VOLTAGE REGULATOR TRANSFORMERS

These are fully automatic servo motor type voltage regulators. They are typically used in countries with unstable electrical power supplies or with appliances that are sensitive to fluctuations in the power source. These automatic voltage regulators can be used as step down transformers to provide a constant 110 volt output when used in 220/230/240 volt countries or they can be used as step up transformers to provide a constant European type of 220 volts when the input voltage is a US 110 volts or Japan 100 volts.

These voltage regulator transformers can also be used to stabilize a 110 volt input as well as a 220 volt input. These SVC series voltage regulator transformers use servo motor technology to regulate the voltage. Basically, this voltage regulator transformer responds to input voltage changes, sends signals to the servo motor and the Servo motor reacts to the signals sent to it by adjusting the output voltage. The SVC2000 and SVC3000 have an output voltage adjusting screw for precise settings of the output voltage. You will then be able to see the output voltage being changed on the meter on the front of the regulator.
